Calling all x86haters

Hi. I finally found time to have a go at trying to create a place where all non-x86-loving people can gather and do all the bashing x86 deserves and more, from the engineering point of view. This is a place to discuss or give your opinion about alternative architectures and microprocessors and to convince the world about how UGLY and ILL x86 is!

Why is the world dominated by x86?
Can Intel escape its own creation?
Will we someday dispose of an OLD, OBSOLETE, OBSCURE, TOTALLY MESSY architecture?
Why did Apple have to switch from PPC to x86?
How come x86 (AMD Opteron) is spilling over onto systems like Sun's or Cray's?

All these questions may have a answer, and I invite YOU to discuss them all!

Maybe all this x86 bashing may be a little bit cruel and pointless, you know, but it just makes me feel so gooood.... (alleviates stress) ; S
